Like others have written – I've sent 2 QSL requests (with $’s) to no avail. 1st time on 08 Sept 10 then again this year on 11 Feb 12. I wish he would use LoTW, have a manager, or at least have an e-mail address listed to correspond...

Your 3rd request arrived here 31st October. The reply will be in the mail on 5th November.
For the two previous requests, I cannot say what happened. No records are kept as to incoming and outgoing mail.

I sent a QSL card to Frank with a SASE and IRC enclosed on 17SEP12 and received his card back on 12OCT12. My guess is that irregularities in the local mail delivery on the island are the cause of QSL problems. |

Received today QSL for 2 recent QSOs with 9Y4VU. Turn around time was about 3 to 4 weeks. Frank writes: The postal system here has a problem as I too have many outstanding QSL requests. I am about to write the authorities about the problem. |

Yes, mail problem that is the cause of the failed replies. Card with green stamps, SASE over a year ago, no card. Forget it! |

Fred I do not keep records of QSL's received or sent. All I can say is that all QSL's received are answered promptly. The rest is up to the postal system gods.
Wait a while and see if the card comes in before resending.

All QSL's received at this QTH has a turn around time of less than one week.
If you havent' received a card it could possibly be a postal system issue, for which I know has been quite a few.
